I contacted Pockit immediately and asked them to cancel the transaction, but they failed to do so. A dispute was then opened, but I have been told it can remain open for up to 50 days. During that time, Pockit says they cannot take any further action or assist me. Meanwhile, the scam company has continued trying to charge me for a subscription I never wanted. I have refused to add more money to my account to cover these unauthorised charges, and Pockit is now charging me additional fees because of this. As a result, this situation is now affecting my credit record. I believe this has been handled very poorly, especially considering I reported the issue as soon as I became aware of the scam. I never selected or consented to any paid plan, and I certainly did not receive or use a physical card. Yet, without any proper notice, the app charged me £2.49 for a subscription I never agreed to. When I contacted support, they simply stated that the charge applies "regardless of usage" — which is completely unacceptable and deeply misleading. There was no clear information about recurring fees at the time of signup. This is not transparent, not fair, and in my opinion, borders on unethical practice. Even after requesting to be moved to the free plan and refunded, their support team refused to help. This is not how customers should be treated.
