Extremely frustrating experience with Pockit I have had a very disappointing experience with Pockit. My account was placed under review and I was asked to provide identification and proof of income, including my passport and payslips. I provided everything requested and waited 8 working days for the review to be completed. After finally being told that the review had been completed, I attempted to transfer £1,500 of my own money to another bank account in my name. The transfer was declined and my account was immediately placed under review again. What makes this even more frustrating is that I have now been asked to provide the same information again, despite already completing the verification process and supplying the documents requested. Having money in an account that I cannot properly access or transfer has caused me a great deal of stress and inconvenience, particularly as the money is needed for my normal bills and living expenses. I completely understand that banks and financial services need to carry out security and verification checks, but the communication, delays and repeated requests have been extremely frustrating. Customers should not have to repeatedly provide the same information without a clear explanation of what is happening or when their money will become accessible. Another negative is waiting 5 working days for a response and then it’s a chat bot. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using Pockit - you simply don’t - awful. Read more Read less

This time however when on chat, I asked how to make a complaint about the situation and the chat was automatically ended. Will now not answer any chats or respond to emails. As a whole, previous customer service was ok but this times it’s been appalling. No further forward with my payment, held my funds and won’t reply. Not ideal for a financial service. I contacted Pockit immediately and asked them to cancel the transaction, but they failed to do so. A dispute was then opened, but I have been told it can remain open for up to 50 days. During that time, Pockit says they cannot take any further action or assist me. Meanwhile, the scam company has continued trying to charge me for a subscription I never wanted. I have refused to add more money to my account to cover these unauthorised charges, and Pockit is now charging me additional fees because of this. As a result, this situation is now affecting my credit record. I believe this has been handled very poorly, especially considering I reported the issue as soon as I became aware of the scam.
