Review of the Purely Pets, Pet Insurance:

They take too long to pay out for claims.

They take so long to pay out for claims. I sent my claim on 1st December and am being told that they generally take 4 weeks to settle. It is now 24th January! Every time I call I get told that I should hear in 3 days. There should be no problem in paying out as this is not an ongoing condition, it is for accidental injury. FANTASTIC

Nobody wants to have to use their pet insurance but if & when you need to you want to know everything is going to be taken care of with no fuss. That’s exactly what has happened to me this year unfortunately my poor boy has had a run of bad luck this year & had to go to vets twice for different things & despite it been a worrying time the one thing I didn’t have to worry about was his insurance company messing around. Great cover with friendly helpful advisors

We had to have some of our dogs teeth removed as it is common in her breed to have dental issues. Despite a rigorous dental hygiene regime we were unable to prevent this. I contacted Purley Pets and run the through the claim with an advisor. They were really friendly and helpful. Once the vet had completed the surgery they sent off the claim form and I paid the vet. Once Purley Pets got the form a really help and friendly lady called me to confirm the details and explain what would happen next. I only had to wait a couple of weeks for the claim to be assessed and for the claim to be settled (This is usually quicker but they have a backlog due to COVID). The choices of cover are really good and comprehensive with a plan to suit all budgets. The staff. Have always been friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I would not go anywhere else now.
