Review of the Santander, Basic Current Account:

Glad I’m soon leaving.

Awful experiences most of the time. In making simple transactions in the bank the queues are disgusting. Staff stood around waiting for queue to get bigger before then serving. Security questions great but the incessant questions going way beyond are unnecessarily intrusive. Branches shutting down and basic things can’t be done in the machine and needs queuing for. Then having to repeat things over and over again because of lack of listening. Just overall never been a good experience with this bank. Glad I moved banks for most of my savings. Excellent professional knowledgeable staff

A few recent interactions with my local branch where the team took the time to explain things to me in detail. I had a small issue and the staff couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. This reminded me why I have been a customer of theirs for nearly 40 years. Reviewed on: 6th June 2023

Fantastic

I cannot express enough my satisfaction in santander. From being able to do everything on the cash point, deposits, cheques, transfers and they have them outside the branch which is so convenient after closing time.
