Santander, great for customer service

We have been customers of Santander for over ten years, this is down to the excellent customer service we have always received when calling them for any issue. The IOS app is easy to use and helps me to keep on top of my finances, the updates never cause any bug issues for me and I can easily access my accounts wherever I am. Reviewed on: 28th January 2020

STILLWAITING

WAITING FOR A (SAR) FOR 3 YEARS.INSTEAD RECIEVED NOTHING BUT MISTRUTHS AND INCOMPETENCE INSTEAD.STILL WAITING TO RECIEVE MY INFORMATION AFTER REPEATEDLY CALLING SANTANDER AND VISITING SANTANDER BRANCH FOR THIS SIMPLE TASK TO BE PERFORMED.EITHER THEY ARE ALARMINGLY AND BEYOND INCOMPETENT OR CRIMINAL ACTIVITY HAS OCCURED WITH MY ACCOUNT AND STILL NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT THIS AFTER TELLING SANTANDER FOR 3 YEARS OF THIS OCCURANCE TO MULTIPLE SANTANDER STAFF.THIS BANK IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE AND BEYOND COMPREHENSION. HELLISH EXPERIENCE

Waiting for personal information to be provided after 3 years of waiting and excuses. Still waiting but receiving nothing but excuses instead. Told them is fraud on my account but no one listens. Beyond incompetent. They just do not care. Worst bank imaginable and no one listens to you. Hellish. Reviewed on: 18th January 2025

My trusted bank

I have been with Santander for over thirty years in all that time I have never had a problem the only reason I changed to the everyday account was because the 123 no longer suited my needs. I have had many products with Santander, a mortgage that I have paid off, savings accounts current accounts in all that time and different products they have performed outstanding in every respect. I was originally with Alliance and Leicester before...

I was originally with Alliance and Leicester before moving to Santander. I have never had anything helpful from this bank. I can't even get an overdraft or loan let alone a credit card from this place yet I opened an account with a rival bank and have been given all 3. The customer service is pretty good. It was a difficult experience moving from a basic account to this every day account. Its not a bad bank just don't expect miracles from them as there are better out there. Not even a jar of Nutella haha. Reviewed on: 3rd May 2024
