Good overall but beware the hidden charges

Happily I have not had to make any changes with thus company in terms of details to my policy but am aware that if I did then it would cost me £26 - and this would include a simple change of name. Their rationale is that if they didn't charge then premiums across the board would be higher, which may be true, but £26 seems pretty steep to me and more in line with profits than meeting costs... Competitive insurance

Pleased. Good customer service

I had a renewal letter from them but the quote was higher than I had seen on a price comparison site. So I rang them and they were really helpful. They lowered their quote and answered all my questions. Reviewed on: 26th August 2015

Extremely honest and responsive

We recently had to make our first home insurance claim in 20 years when a pipe burst. They were fast, efficient, and paid up within a week. Frustratingly, when they re-quoted at the end of the policy they were extremely uncompetitive, and as a result we left them. Strangely they didn't even want to negotiate on the price, despite being 60% higher than others. Reviewed on: 12th June 2015
