Current account

This bank offered a great incentive to swap and open an account with it a few years ago. The co-op offered a local branch which was used regularly and always had a friendly counter service. Unfortunately it closed two local banks and now only offers a counter service which is in a main branch over 30 minutes away. However banking online is adequate and easy to use. I have used this company for car insurance for the last few years. They are always competitively priced and offer hire cars. I have always been able to reach them when needed. Reviewed on: 3rd August 2016

Cheap insurance

I have insured my car for 2 years running with the Post Office. Details are sent through quickly and the overall cost includes a lot of extras which are often not included with other insurers. I believe the cost is extremely competitive hence renewing again this year. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015
