Review of the Starling Bank, Business Account:

Absolutely avoid.

Absolutely avoid. Terrible customer experience, from a bank that won’t even allow you to control your own money, nor give you even bother to give you a reason why. As a Product Designer I can also confidently say the user experience is comical. Rather than drawing focus to the funds in your account, they prioritise how much you’ve spent that day by drawing contrast to this, rather than what you have available. The staff are rude, unhelpful and not remorseful in the slightest. The last straw for me was when my sister desperately needed me to send some money to her and Starling blocked it. Starling the default choice

Starling were the only bank willing to help us to open a business account during the lockdown period. All other banks we approached either couldn't help or wouldn't help. However this default has turned out to be a good decision. The banking tools are easy to use and have never caused us any issues. Reviewed on: 15th April 2024

I switched to Starling Bank in 2021. Love it.

I switched to Starling to run my small business in 2021 and they have been super efficient, lovely App to use and being a tiny business its essentail for me to keep my costs down and Starling really helps with that. Reviewed on: 15th April 2024
