TERRIBLE

Fraudulent company!

Using them for about 5 months, had weekly wages go in .. I let my balance increase and all of a sudden I go on holiday use it in Italy come home and now I've been locked out of the bank all funds seized and been over a week still pending review. The customer service reads of a script. They are the most unhelpful people I have ever dealt with. Infact it's really embarrassing to have to listen to them on the phone because their voices/tone doesn't match the words they saying .. its so fake, stay away from this company and DO NOT leave your money in there. The bank restricted and eventually closed the account, causing significant delays in accessing funds (3+ months). Communication was slow and often unclear, leaving uncertainty about timelines and processes. Do not use!!

Reviewing on here was my last resort but I think it is important other business owners are made aware that this bank is not suitable as a business account. I have two business accounts and make regular payments between them. On a random occasion, although Zemplar could see that multiple payments have been made from my other business account into Zemplar, decided to restrict the account, I am assuming due to the large amount. However it’s a business account not personal so large amounts are to be expected. I understand they are obliged to do checks to protect people. I then proceeded to send 4 different types of proof of payment. 3 of them were from their verified list. On 4 occasions they have rejected the proof of payment. I am unable to use the business account in this time. The money I transferred to zempler still hasn’t been returned to my business account and when you call up they tell you 24 hours for the proof of payment r be reviewed. There is no way that this can be expedited so you are just left waiting. The customer service cannot call the relevant team who verify the proof of payments and so you are left in limbo. I have clients to pay and as a business owner this is extremely frustrating. A simple call from the relevant team would have solved this. This bank is therefore not efficient for a business owner. It is not enough to just say you offer business accounts but the account must actually be fit for purpose. Reviewed on: 31st July 2025
