Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

I’ve had a really positive experience with this bank. The staff are always helpful and professional, and I’ve found their customer service to be quick and easy to reach whenever I’ve had questions. Ex-Zempler-y!

I had gone through a very difficult time personally and hadn’t been afforded time or help from named branches, BUT, Zempler, online account, easy to access customer support team, helped and set me up! I have been with them for a few years (formerly Cashplus) but I couldn’t recommend them enough. User friendly, inform you in advance of any upcoming maintenance services, reasonable monthly fee for use of service. 100% recommend! Thank you Zempler! Reviewed on: 17th April 2026
