Enjoyed the relationship and products available...

Have enjoyed the relationship and products available within the Premier wrapper, not the most competitive but with global reach and stable/trusted brand. The ongoing concierge and health services are welcome addition in the recent overhaul. Reviewed on: 20th August 2026

Hsbc Premier account

I have had a hsbc Premier account for a while and also use their service for a mortgage. If i ever have an issue I will contact their customer service department and they will sort it out. Reviewed on: 16th April 2026

Complete nightmare trying to set up Premiere account.

Complete nightmare trying to set up Premiere account. The sms link timed out as I was a way for a few days. Trying to then deal with their customer service department to reactivate/upload last document was a nightmare- they keep asking for sort or account code and allegedly have no one who can help with setting up new premier account— lucky escape will switch to a different bank Reviewed on: 16th February 2026

Excellent product and service from HSBC!

Excellent product and really good customer experience. The insurance products are a great piece of mind and offer great protection against the unexpected. The service so far has been brilliant, onshore team there to answer your questions and always happy to go above and beyond. Would 100% recommend. Excellent bank account with a really good app that is clear and easy to use. Premier comes with a small zero percent overdraft and it's easy to draw additional lending when required. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

Criteria getting stricter

Criteria requirements are getting stricter meaning they’ll be taking people off premier accounts. In terms of the benefits provided, things like travel insurance, and newer heath related bits are good, but interest rates themselves are not so good (at least in comparison to non premier bank accounts).
