The best thing I have ever done.

Best decision I've made.

I was overwhelmed by trying to keep up payments to creditors. I was recommended to contact Step Change and it was the best decision I ever made. They helped me to construct a budget where I made regular monthly payments to my creditors but still had enough money to cover all my other outgoings. I've been with Step Change for nearly two years and they have continued to provide support. Thanks to them, I've never missed a payment to my creditors and I'm in a stable financial situation. Easy, stress free help!

It took me a long time to find the right help with my financial problems. StepChange was the easiest and least confrontational way of dealing with creditors who were previously uncooperative. My financial difficulties were having an impact on my mental and emotional wellbeing; I felt ashamed, incredibly overwhelmed, and constantly anxious. The day I spoke to a counsellor from Step Change, I began to feel hope, the counsellor was understanding and very supportive, and I no longer felt alone.
