Saved me from depression and sleepless nights, due to health issues

Step Change saved me and supported me throughout my health issues, due to having breast cancer, 2 parathyroid operations, a stroke and being diagnosed with fibromyalgia a number of years ago. The staff are professional, understanding and very caring. I have been supported by Step Change for over 6years and continue with them in my retirement. Should have contacted sooner

I didn’t miss my monthly payments but struggled every month after paying them. I didn’t want to give in and admit defeat and have the embarrassment of people judging me. I finally gave in and rang step change and they changed everything. I’m not able to manage all my payments and can finally see my balances coming down. My only regret is not ringing sooner. They were so helpful and made me feel at ease. I didn’t feel judged and they were very helpful. If I had called sooner rather than struggle I’d likely be out of debt by now. Calm, knowledgeable and on your side

Great from start to finish. From the first phone call where I was bricking it about admitting what a state my finances were in, speaking to a non judgemental and knowledgable consultant through the easy set of up of debt management plan. Even when I’ve had disasters like my car breaking down and stressed about meeting my payments the team at Step Change have been so helpful. 100 percent recommend them to anyone who needs help. Stepchange has changed our lives

After feeling sick and desperate at how to pay our bills it has taken a lot of pressure off us. By being able to pay a certain amount to which everyone agrees although for us the guilt has never gone away. We aren't bad people but owing money has made us feel that way although it was our fault we got in debt. To be able to speak to someone who didn't make us feel horrible was such a massive help, as we felt horrible enough. Wish we had learnt how to manage money when younger although we never had enough money and of course credit always seems a good option at the time. So readily available. Thank u so much Stepchange.
