Awful performance

Just had my statement for the last year put in 5000 pounds these people are supposed to look after it and invest wisely but the have managed to lose the lot and more same as last year and charged me nearly a grand for the pleasure may as well shove it in the mattress as trust these clowns Reviewed on: 9th June 2023

We invest your money in a variety of things so it has a chance to grow over time, but like any other investment, this isn’t entirely risk-free. Over the short term, the value of your pension can go down as well as up. Over the long term, our investment professionals aim to grow your pot of money so it’s worth more than what you put in by the time you retire. Most of our members are automatically invested in our default fund when they join us. As members get closer to retirement it switches from riskier investments into less risky ones with the intention of reducing sudden drops in the value of their savings and protecting their hard-earned cash. If you’re invested in our default fund and are unhappy with its performance, you can choose one of our other funds. You can find out more about your investment options here. Still haven't had a small pot claim processed months...

Still haven't had a small pot claim processed months after initially trying. The website form didn't work so they sent a paper form which took weeks to arrive, filled in and sent back. 3 weeks later called to chase - given some rubbish about my old employer having given them a finish date in the future. Sent a P45 which is pretty clear evidence that I've finished! Waited another 2 weeks and chased, got the same response back, we have a future finish date for you! Phoned my old employer - we've told them you've finished working here. Multiple emails and phone calls and several months later still no sign of it being processed. There are multiple reviews where customers have been given the same excuse of future finish date. Dismally poor service or deliberately stalling claims?? Reviewed on: 28th April 2025

I live abroad so my initial contact was with the Web chat advisor who was very helpful . However the claims dept the service was terrible. Lack of acknowledgement, my emails weren't answered for 2/3 weeks, and vague answers. I kept going over the same ground with my info. Awful at paying out

I turned 55 in April.Applied for my small pot pension to pay for my wife to have foot surgery to alleviate her pain.I provided every document that was requested.Delays followed.Finally I was messaged to contact an 0300 telephone number.Except it doesn't work from Ireland.The UK open university 0300 does ,so clearly it's people's partnership have the problem.Thanfully my sister works in the industry and she found 01293 586666.I called and spoke to reception.She tried to transfer me to the small pots team ,before coming back and saying thry would not speak to me but wanted me to answer questions such as ,am I really me ,and was I taking my smallpot of my own free will.Bu****"it basically. They then waited twenty more working days and paid out with no further communication.No email or nothing.I can no longer get onto the portal either.I was paid out about 5 percent less than my illustration when I first requested my smallpot 3 months earlier.So I've seen the typical people's partnership response asking people to email them on this website.So my response is you have my details ,why don't you email me and I will take twenty working days to reply to you.Robert Cave Date of experience: 18 July 2024 Reviewed on: 19th July 2024

Awful customer service

They are a nightmare to deal with. If you ever need help with anything, they usually take at least a week to even reply. When they do reply, they just come with more problems than solutions. It never feels like you're actually communicating with a human, but rather, just someone copying/pasting responses. Even simple things like setting up individual payments are incredibly difficult to set up with them. If I can't trust them with simple tasks or to communicate with me when I need help, I can't trust them with my money. Reviewed on: 17th July 2024
