Problems withdrawing money

Don’t be in a hurry to withdraw YOUR money as this company are a nightmare First of all they told me my employer had to finish paying contributions ( which is strange as I thought I could withdraw MY money at any time ? Then they told me I wasn’t the account holder despite giving them my account ref policy number to which you need username password and memorable word to access Still waiting for MY money Reviewed on: 1st July 2022

Impossible to withdraw funds

After 6 months of trying to withdraw a small amount from a pension pot I have had to resort to approaching the FCA to complain about the disgraceful service. Repeated requests for information, birth certificates , blank cheques . They should be struck off. Reviewed on: 11th April 2022

Nightmare

Stay away, worst company, they will tell you anything to get you off the phone. Took them more than 2 months to give me my ( small pot ) money. I had to call 4 times spending hours on the phone and send emails also !!! Out Of Order Reviewed on: 28th March 2022

Avoid this company at all costs!!!

If I was able to do so, I would love to leave a minus review for this company. Earlier this year, I decided to consolidate my nine pensions into one pension. My pension transfer request was sent to this company, electronically, in January 2022 by my favoured pension company, Penfold. As off today, the 24th March 2022, my request has NOT been actioned... In complete contrast, the other eight pension providers, that I had pensions with, have all completed their pension transfers in a timely manner. Given that my The People's Pension fund value is only circa £300, I find this company's customer service frustrating/ disgusting in equal measure. To gap it all, after spending 25 minutes on the phone this morning, in an attempt to speak to the Pension Transfer Department, after being cut off once by the first Customer Service Representative that I spoke to, I am no further forward in having my pension funds transferred... Do yourself a favour if you are looking to set up a personal pension plan, avoid this company at all costs unless you want a lifetime of dealing with a company who does not value your business.... Trying to draw out

Absolutely the worse company I have ever dealt with I opted out due to me being off work sick and having lost my mum and brother in a short period of time as I’m casual I’ve no income so this as I’m 55 would be a great help but no it’s awful trying to get my own money back off them don’t answer emails then if they do bother to answer the phone it’s a call centre who just read what’s infront of them telling me I need to get my employer to confirm date my contributions ended which they have done 4 times keep telling me I need to wait till 22nd which I did last month it’s now wait till 22nd of this month warning to you all DO NOT use this company worst ever Reviewed on: 12th March 2022

Looks after your pension

As this is my workplace pension provider, I did not get any choice in what it would be but I am thoroughly impressed with them. They're head and shoulders above some of the others I've had to use. Their website is intuitive and easy to use, the glidepaths are tailored to you and so far they have managed my money extremely well with significant returns for my investments. You're also able to change how your money is invested and other details yourself online without having to phone anyone up or go to a meeting which is always a plus. They do however also offer more hands on support if that's what you're after. Reviewed on: 17th January 2022

Impossible to withdraw funds

Despite repeated contact the People's Pension keep saying ' wait 7-10 days'. this is a song they sing and it has no meaning as it has not happened 3 times and they no longer bother to answer emails. I am actually doubting the financial stability of this company now and suspect that they will go into liquidation leaving people high and dry. I wish I could say something positive about them having been enrolled in their scheme but I cannot find anything good. Definitely buyer beware. Reviewed on: 4th December 2021

Did not opt-out

I called two Months ago to opt-out and hopping that money for first month will be brought back, but now they toom money even for second month which they not giving back money neither for both months. Never will use again and will not recommend to others Reviewed on: 27th October 2021
