Review of the Tide, Business Banking:

This is not a bank, it is a circus!

They are spamming my inbox with usless emails about their services and offers at least twice a week. When I wrote to them asking to stop, they gave me 24 hours on a weekend to click on a dodgy link, provide a scan of my ID and other sensitive information just to CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION! Not to mention that they changed my business account details from my business name, to my personal name. May as well have a personal account. This is not a bank, it is a circus! Quite decent

I’d score is somewhere like 7.5-8/10 somethings I feel could be improved like when paying cash in the charges are fairly steep for each £500, when your in the building game that is nothin my at all. Fairly good at invoicing and that. Seen worse that’s for sure Reviewed on: 10th April 2023

Yesmeen is 100%

It will be great when it is finished

Great basic functionality but lacking a few obvious features (like Co-founders both having full access). Apart from that the basic package is very solid and easy/intuitive to use for most banking related tasks. Reviewed on: 10th April 2023

Good some massive flaws

Pretty straight forward app and system with some useability clangers. Want to know when a payment came in a few months ago get ready for a long scrolling session cos there is no search. No filter to see only income or outgoings No flag to mark reconciled transactions - you’re going to have to download everything as a spreadsheet to do your reconciliation. There’s not even a way to download all your statements for a year end - you’re going to have to do 12 round trips through the menu to get the years statements. Only one person can have the app despite being a partnership. The website version requires the phone so the day you drop you're phone is the day your business loses all access to all banking. Simple not overly expensive but my word I don’t think anyone there has tried to run a business with it. Reviewed on: 10th April 2023

Exceptionally Simple Secure Banking

Forget the high street.

After a pretty awful experience with a high street bank named metro bank. I was on the look out for an online bank that was easy to use and had a good reputation. Tide have been great for the past year I have used them as my main business account any issues I have had it’s been easy to sort out with the customer service team also when it comes to accounting my account seamlessly links with xero in order for my accounts to be up dated and straightforward to use.
