Knowing my money is safe and well

It’s just one less thing on the conscience, to know that my money is not being used to fund climate change, ecological destruction, and other nefarious deeds while I’m not using it. Triodos has great comms too, their colour of money newsletter is full of interesting stories about the work and projects they help fund. I only didn’t give them 5 stars overall because setting up a new current account was a bit cumbersome compared to other new app-only banks, which was frustrating. The best bank I've ever been with

I moved over to Triodos based on their environmental and ethical credentials, but I've been blown away by their wider service. Their customer service is always extremely helpful. They clearly take care to protect customers from scams. The online interface is simple and easy to use. I love the email updates they send that inform their customers about the kinds of projects that are being funded with our money. Fundamentally, Triodos is proving that an ethical banking model is not simply achievable, but actively desirable. Reviewed on: 28th February 2021

Great bank

I switched to Triodos ban last year and its the best thing i’ve done in years. I’m fed up with the big banks still funding the fossil fuel industry and I don’t want my money being used in this way. Triodos are brilliant, great customer service and ethical banking at the heart of everything they do. The big banks could learn a lot from Triodos and I’m so glad they are doing well. Best banking experience in the UK

I’ve been with Triodos for a few years now. I switched because I was drawn to their ethical investing and approach and have been blown away by how good their customer service is compared to other banks. Great ethics, great values, great service

I chose Triodos for ethical and environmental reasons because I wanted my money to support others. But they have also proved to be an excellent bank in terms of the way that the accounts are managed, the excellent online system and app, and also their customer service. Excellent service

I'm so pleased to be banking with Triodos and knowing my money isn't being used to fund things I don't want to support. Triodos have excellent customer service and I really enjoy reading about all the fantastic projects and businesses they fund - I bought most of my Christmas presents last year through Triodos funded companies! Ethical, friendly, great customer service

I wanted to change to an ethical bank and wondered how a smaller bank would compare especially not having actual branches. I found I can use the computer and app on my phone to do all transactions and they seem to have plenty of checks and balances about money transfer to ensure your money is safe. They don't have complicated offers and conditions, just a monthly charge which I am happy with. Their phone line is brilliant and some of the tricky queries I have had in setting up a second account in two names was swiftly dealt with. All their operators seem to know their systems well and funnily enough it seems more of a personal bank than a high street branch to me now. Highly recommended. Reviewed on: 28th February 2021
