Is Vanquis credit card value for money?

It takes 2 days for my payments to clear and I would prefer it to happen more quickly. Also, if I go over my limit by even a small amount, I would like the chance to pay it at the time without being charge fees. Reviewed on: 3rd May 2024

Vanquis has professionally impact my financial situation over a decade now. Vanquis gave me hope for my financial situation at that time. The bank made my credit score to an appreciable level. The customer service is an excellent resource between the bank and service users like me. Decisions on my account come out positive and very quickly. Disgraceful customer service and payment App.

You offer me a credit increase for £3100 then when I apply I am told I need give proof of income so I send a copy of my pension then get another reply to provide more evidence so I phoned your customer service to be told you can’t accept proof from my bank statement which is beyond belief so I then informed the advisor to cancel my application. Your payment app is an absolute joke I have used it several times to pay my monthly payment which has taken me numerous attempts and up to an hour for it to finally work. I am then told the App is through Nat west not yourselves, so I suggest you get your act together and sort it out. I have never missed a payment and always on time. I have paid my outstanding balance in full and as of 16/04/25 I have closed my account and don’t wish to have any dealings with Vanquis again. Reviewed on: 17th April 2025
