If you frequently order Deliveroo (at least twice monthly), travel a few times yearly and could therefore use lounge access - the Gold card is almost a no brainer. There's also trip insurance included if you put your tickets for a flight or train on this card. Unfortunately, the Gold card isn't great for spending abroad, but it might still be worth putting travel tickets on it considering the insurance + the outbount spend bonus for spending in foreign currencies. The bill for my pets

I tried as a joke and I received a very nice amount in my American express card. It helped me a lot to cover the bills for my pets. It was there in the hardest moments. Reviewed on: 1st June 2024

Great card in the first year, love the lounge access...

Great card in the first year, love the lounge access and the points system for spending. Everything is great value and a good service except one thing. For a card and company so focused on travel and booking international hotels, flights cars, there should not be a foreign transaction fee. Amex USA have 0 foreign transaction fees. Amazing product and customer service

My application was quick and easy. I received my credit card very fast, and I was able to change my pin in the app rather than having to go to a cash point. You can easy build up points which you can redeem in multiple ways. I would definitely recommend this product. Reviewed on: 16th March 2023

Excellent Customer Service

I have contacted AMEX multiple times over the last year, and each time I have spoken to someone over the telephone within a few minutes, with my issue being rectified then and there. They have 24/7 customer service and I always use my Gold Card for my purchases as I know should anything happen, I am covered due to their excellent and immediately accessible assistance. Amazing customer service

Amex has exceeded my expectations, I cannot recommend Amex enough, sometimes when I had queries they truly went above and beyond to help resolve my query and I could not of been an happier customer.
