Good cashback when using Credit Card

Credit Card gives the opportunity to use cashback. There's a good variety of shops that offer cashback when using Virgin Money Credit Card. I've never had a problem with this card. Reviewed on: 5th September 2024

Worst Credit Card Security Process

I had been sent letters about balance transfer offer so wanted to take advantage of consolidating my other credit card debts. 1st went fine but when I tried to complete another I was directed to the app but was blocked when I was asked a previous address in Bristol, I gave my previous address but they told me the information was incorrect and that I was then blocked from accessing the and told I needed to wait for a letter where I would be told how I go provided proof of address and photo ID. After nearly a month and 4 calls, I even raised a compliant I’m still blocked from my account told I need to find photocopier so I can I prove who I say I am. Terrible customer service because I’ve been promised 3 times the letter had been sent to be told today I don’t need to wait for (which was still not sent even) I received an acknowledgment of my compliant made over 2 weeks ago. Very poor processes I would strongly recommend any other credit over this one Reviewed on: 11th March 2023

Unable to use service without a Google or Apple acocunt.

There is no way to access the Credit Card account without a smartphone app - no access via the website, at all. The app does NOT work without Google Play Services, therefore requiring a Google account to install the app legitimately on an Android device. If you choose an iPhone, you need an Apple account. It should NOT be legal to require an account with Google or Apple to access a financial product. Reviewed on: 10th March 2023

Absolute rubbish

Fine as a credit card horrendous if you have a problem with a retailer!!

I had used my credit card fine, the app was OK. Annoyed they use your details to try to sell you Virgin Media I did not give permission for that!! I had a problem with a retailer that did not send the goods and in reality looks like they are scam artists! I notified Virgin I had a problem and had tried to rectify it myself to no avail. More than two weeks later the amount is still on the account, they have not notified Mastercard of the problem that will take another couple of weeks!! Mastercard can then take another 90 days to resolve it and then finally I get a refund!! I once had this happen years ago with a different credit card company and it was taken straight off of my account and they dealt with it themselves! I also now find my Equifax record shows I have a dispute with Virgin although I pay everything fine and my credit rating has been reduced drastically!! Don't touch them they are not worth the problems you will get!! Reviewed on: 6th March 2023
