Lloyds are rubbish!

Lloyds are rubbish! They reduced my credit card limit from £4,500 to £850 with no warning or communication. I had to get 2 more credit cards to pay for important career improvement courses. I will be closing this account once it is paid off. Fraud team were useless - took me over 4 months to resolve an issue of buying a stolen phone from Ebay. Staff were threating, abusive and unhelpful causing additional stress at at a time when I could afford to lose that money. I eventually got my refund and a token amount of compensation after taking the case to the Financial Ombudsman. I will never buy a Lloyds product again! Reviewed on: 12th April 2024

Not communicating with customers is very efficient for a Bank.

Unfortunately Lloyds Bank do not prioritise customer telephone enquiries or seemingly even telephone enquiries from their remaining branches. This is all the more concerning as they advance with their 'branch closing strategy'. Obviously holding funds and not communicating with customers is very efficient for a Bank. Always Friendly Staff - Hit & Miss Products

Staff at each branch location visited were friendly and helpful. Lloyds has scaled back some of its public and private banking offerings. Credit cards have suffered the most, with the elimination of good rewards programmes. Reviewed on: 16th January 2022

Integrated banking

With standardised user interfaces across the Lloyds Banking Group it is easy to keep apace with the ever persistent fintech product changes for example with the move from Avios to Cashback. Furthermore this is backed up with real user support from well briefed staff both on the phone and at the local stores that get full marks for continuing to function during the lockdown.
