Mortgage renewal

Having been a Chorley BS customer for many years while doing up my barn conversion I was very impressed by their friendly approach to my requirements. Excellent customer service!

When I phoned I was immediately put through to a member of the mortgage team (Mark) who was highly knowledgeable and clearly explained my options without any pressure, he also answered my questions straight away in an open and honest way. As always Chorley are fantastic to speak to and have straightforward products without any hidden costs. I’m not very confident with the on line things that you have to complete .. but my contact Mark Rothwell was so helpful. Replied to each email I sent with a question and answered with no waffle .. just to the point. Would 100% recommend dealing with Chorley and Mark in particular. Thankyou. Successful application

We already have a mortgage with Chorley, and have ported it with a slight top-up to a new property. Chorley were very helpful, responded to our queries and change of property and mortgage amount without much delay. They are very traditional and the mortage interviews were a bit long (hence only 4 star), but I don't know how much of this is due to the financial regulations and how much is down to Chorley's working practices. Rollercoaster of emotions

I’m glad I get this opportunity to express some feedback on my experience, after potentially losing all hope in getting a mortgage and waiting for anyone to pick up my case, a lovely lady name ‘Nina’, emailed to explain that she’d like to take my case and in doing so, dropping other cases, one of the loveliest woman I’ve spoken to in these types of circumstances, nothing was to much trouble and I believe she even worked behind her work day in order get the answer I needed, honestly cannot thank her enough she needs a big bonus! I’d love to know her address so I could send her a big bunch of flowers and nice bottle of wine to say thanks! Over the moon with how I was dealt with and it’s all down to Nina! Existing Customer Re-mortgage May/June 2023

I’ve been a customer with the Chorley Building Society since 2017 and cannot recommend them highly enough. The service in every area has been absolutely exemplary and my most recent experience of re-mortgaging my property in May/June 2023 only strengthened this view. Whilst they may not always be the cheapest on the market, you cannot place a value on the benefits of dealing with real, friendly, humans who take their time understand your circumstances and work through a personalised recommendation / solution.
