Despicable company

All they want is to take your money. Made a mistake with my no claims, I actually had more than I realised. Tried to contact them via email when I received my no claims certificate and forwarded it on to them, but my messages were ignored. Even tried to telephone, but was confronted with a very rude customer service representative. Now I am paying more for my insurance than I should be and all my attempts to contact them are being ignored. Very unprofessional. Stay away! ... Reviewed on: 2nd September 2020

Avoid at all costs

!!!! I have just found out that this company has been taken to the Supreme Court of appeals before!!!!! !!! They are also now on their 3rd trading name !!!!! Disgusting company to deal with. If I could give you a negative star rating I would. They lie constantly and don’t even bother investigating properly. If you complain they ignore you. Terrible service

Do not get your insurance here. They will run rings around you. Incompetent, slow service for the simplest of issues. I have dealt with three different staff members and two weeks later still have not resolved a problem. Shop elsewhere!!! Reviewed on: 11th September 2023

Careless and no coperative at all

I bought comprehensive insurance and My van been stolen about 3 weeks before and there validation not been ending and never tell me the name of person handling my case and they didn't provide coutesy van as it mentioned clearly in their insurance its their job to provide coutesy van on first hand. Do not use this company!! Terrible customer service. Impossible to cancel policy!!

We took out this insurance for our teenage son for his first car as at the time was one of the cheapest quote with a black box. The policy is now due to be automatically continued unless the company is notified of cancellation by telephone. We have been on hold for hours on end over several days attempting to cancel the policy. Every time our call is answered we are then put on hold and the call is cut off!! Terrible company stay away

Stay away from this insurance company. So this isn’t actually about me but my boyfriend, he has a black box insurance policy with acorn, which was originally agreed at £322 a month with an allowance of 500 miles. We have been on holiday for the past week meaning the car has not been driven as it was left with the airport. Worst place ever!!!

This is the worst place I have ever known!!! We had an accident that wasn't our fault and have had to deal with it ourselfs even no we pay £190 a month my car was rote off acorn would only give me a car for 7 days I also had to arrange this as they where incomptant to do there self's after the seven days we where left without a car for 4 weeks leaving my partner to walk the kids on a 30 minute walk to and back from school bearing in mind she was 8 months pregnant! Do not use!!!!!!! Terrible company to deal with, my first experience with commercial insurance and let down greatly by Acorn. I used a comparison site and did not realise that I could not use my ncb on the van. After 10 days of calling several times and providing various proof of ncb only to be told each time “no that’s not quite the right format” I eventually got a member of there team that said “no sorry you can’t do that! Scammer and thief

Useless company mostly of them are scammer and lier I had car accident nearly 5month ago non fault they give me wrong valuation for my car.. I will not recommend to any one they are scammer...
