Horrible

Apparently missed a payment 3 months ago, never notified on this, got billed this month and last month no issue.. then all of a sudden, about a week ago, I received policy cancellation threats on payment missed 3 months ago. I tried everything in my power to rectify and pay this to no avail, tried to call multiple times, goes through to an automated system which then hangs up. Couldn't pay via the faulty link they provided as it was unable to find me. They've then informed my my policy has been cancelled and will need to make the full payment today or else it will escalate and I will have a default marker put against me. I've asked them to split the payments into 4 weekly installments as they've already taken this months payment from my account and with the current climate, can't afford to pay the whole thing now. Nope, "you have to either pay the whole thing or 2 payments within 7 days" Are you guys for real? Horrible. I've already got cheaper quotes lined up and will be cancelling my policy with Acorn once this whole thing is over. Reviewed on: 20th August 2020

worst insurance company

I made a inssurance with Acorn and is the worst decision I have made. After a online change of vehicle with confirmation email and paying the the amount of money I was running 2 months withous inssurance because of negligence. I had an incident after 2 months and I found out tham my vehicle it was insured with them ,after spending hours on the phone with unproffesional agents and all the time after 2 hours waiting on the phone the call was going nowhere ,I could not repair my vehicle I paid 2 month inssurance for the old vehicle that I was not driving anymore ,no refund an on top of this a 100£ plus to my inssurance per month I don`t recommand Acorn please paid a bit more but don`t get involve with them Reviewed on: 19th August 2020

Very poor insurance company

I had a accident and rang my insurance haven insurance tonget the car repaired after having the car for 3 weeks theybdecided to write it off and take the courtesy car back. I am a keybworker and with covid 19 not able to get to work as dont have a car. They haven't tried to understand or be helpful in this matter. Other insurance companies are reducing the premiums and offering courtesy cars to their clients until the end of the pandemic. Haven on other hand are not. Also they will not let me buy the car back. Excellent straight forward honest insurance

Excellent company, highly recommend,took a policy out and then recieved a phone call just to make sure the answers I gave were correct so it's helps the customer if a claim is ever made ,highly recommended Reviewed on: 9th August 2019

if i could give zero stars i would. Acorn casually cancelled a policy that was taken out and paid for online. They left a retired lady to drive a car with no insurance. When I called and asked why they didn't call to ask for what ever documents they needed, a lady casually told me that they are in inbound call centre and can not make out going calls. POOR SERVICE. NO CARE FOR CUSTOMERS WHAT SO EVER. Reviewed on: 1st February 2019
