Review of the Axa, Car Insurance:

OK until renewal

2
OK for first year then went elsewhere as renewal quote was extortionate. Reviewed on: 4th April 2022

The simplest claim made very hard

1
Had a car drive into the rear of my car what I thought was a simple claim turned into a nightmare,5 months to wait for the repair and the car damaged by the car repair shop . Endless phone calls to staff who just don't care about you. Reviewed on: 4th November 2023

Reliable service

Dealt with my Claim in quick manner. Quick courtesy car and quick payment. No fussing about. Agents available online to speak to as well as on the phone. I would highly recommend. Reviewed on: 30th August 2023

Fantastic value for features included in my policy.

Quite gobsmacked to actually get a renewal quote that was cheaper than the nearest rival. The policy offers many features other companies charge for, and is very competitive with the additional benefits too. Easy to manage online and speaking with customer service is also very good too. Great cover, poor claim management

2
Good value insurance compared to others. After claim was made, you may encounter months of delays to get the claim closed and not in a fair way. Just my experience. I took AXA to the ombudsman and that's another 4 months wait after almost one year post claim... Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

Well priced, good service

Very reasonably priced considering the market at the moment. Also a very smooth sign up and activation process. No complaints at all Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023

Great service and support from AXA

AXA really supported me during the claim process. They were empathetic and kind throughout the process. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Impossible to contact

1
Renewal premium went up by a very large amount. £280 to £480. I tried many times to speak about this but as always they were experiencing “high volumes of calls” nothing to do with being under staffed! After a week of calling I gave up. Then it was a nightmare to stop them automatically taking my money from bank account at renewal.. I eventually worked out how to do this. And went else where. £200 cheaper. I then got e mail saying sorry you left us. I replied, maybe would not if i could speak to someone. No reply!!!!! Tgats my experience. Reviewed on: 22nd August 2023

Car Insurance Renewal SHOCK

5
I received a renewal notice from my present car insurers and was absolutely dumbfounded !! From just over £400 last year to over £2,000 this year. I queried this but was informed that it was correct. I searched on line and looked at several other options and decided on AXA as, although they were not the cheapest, the package they offered was the best value package by far, and for two thirds less than my present insurer with whom I had been with for several years. I am now looking into AXA's health insurance offers which so far look very promising. I am extremely happy with this insurance company and would definitely recommend them to my family, friends and colleagues. Reviewed on: 14th August 2023

An Unreliable, Slow, and Inept company

1
Recently I had the misfortune of relying on AXA Travel Insurance for a trip, and my experience with their services has been nothing short of abysmal. I strongly advise against choosing AXA Travel Insurance for your travel needs due to their unreliability, sluggishness, ineptitude, and overall uselessness. First, their investigation process is a never-ending saga that seems designed to test one's patience. When I had to file a claim, I expected a timely and efficient resolution. However, AXA proved to be anything but efficient. The process has dragged on (and on) for an unreasonable amount of time, causing me unnecessary stress and anxiety. Their total disregard for customer needs was simply disheartening. The sporadic contact from AXA throughout the investigation was beyond frustrating. I constantly found myself waiting for updates, only to receive minimal information, a request for more details that could have been requested since the beginning of the process, or no response at all. It felt like I was being left in the dark, uncertain of the progress or outcome of my claim. In the end, dealing with AXA Travel Insurance has proven to be a hassle that is not worth the time, effort, or money. Their slow and unreliable service and ineptitude and lack of communication have left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had expected a reliable and reputable insurance provider, but I got an agonizing experience that I would never want anyone else to go through. I cannot stress enough how strongly I discourage anyone from them, just save yourself the headache and find a more reputable insurance provider that values your time and well-being. 6 reasons I won't use AXA again

1
Mind numbingly dull, yet excruciating, AXA’s on hold music is by far the worst I have ever heard. I recently made a straight forward car insurance claim and so far there has been: 11 phone calls. 7 unanswered emails. 5 texts, letters and emails from AXA containing false information. 3 times AXA promised to make the payment within 24 hours, but did not. 25 days since the accident and still I haven't received any payment. And that music, AXA, please, please make it stop. Reviewed on: 6th June 2023
