Not recommended

I feel that Barclays (barclaycard) exploit the vulnerable - they constantly advertise the initial credit card to people that have no or poor credit history. The advert itself is awful "they're barking" and it's not a company I would trust. Their sole interest is profit... ok fair enough they're a bank afterall, but I genuinely feel they don't care about getting people into debt. To put it simply I would never take out a barclaycard purely because I don't trust them as a company Reviewed on: 22nd June 2017

Helpful When Finances are Tight

Had my credit card for some years, and unfortunately, personal circumstances changed for the worse which left me unable to pay my card each month. After explaining my situation, Barclays were very helpful in organising a repayment plan. Reviewed on: 11th June 2017
