Avoid these guys. Awful experience!

Should have realised they are a broker. They only ever cared about their money and what they were owed. I lost 8-9 months of money, then got hit with additional fees, they kept any money I was owed back…. It was an awful experience where I felt I got screwed. Criminal! Reviewed on: 13th November 2024

Rip off company avoid

Insured my sons 50cc moped back in March 2022. Although the policy was overpriced and excess excessive I had no other options. I have a £950 excess! I moved home only to be ripped off with admin fees and policy was raised well over £100 for the remainder of the policy, over £100+ to change the address. The policy was taken out social, domestic and pleasure as my son is a full time student in a sixth form grammar school. The bike broke down, recovered as the breakdown didn’t bother trying to fix or attempt to repair at road side. My sixteen year old left stranded. My son started a 0 hours contract job in local McDonald’s 10 days ago working in the kitchen, after filling out a questionnaire I was shocked to find out he wasn’t covered to ride to his p/t job as he needs to earn some cash for Christmas. A lady from Bikesure rang me to milk me once again for more premium, although I wasn’t at all impressed, she refused to transfer me to a supervisor or manager. It was like talking to yourself and no reasoning with this company. She refused to give me any information on who to complain too, it was a complete rip off yet again. Another £75 to amend the policy and no goodwill!!!!! It company is a joke and I will never ever recommend or use this company in the future. Absolutely Disgusting Reviewed on: 22nd December 2022

Where do I begin.... so I set up a insurance policy with these guys, I did this during my night shifts, Went through fine paid a deposit, its now less than 14 days, and they have cancelled my insurance, I tried to contact them before when I initially seen and emailed to say contact us, this took over and hour and no1 answered, I sent and email for them to contact me, when on the occasions they tried to call I did not answer this was due to me sleeping in the day which I work nights of course I'm not going to be awake, I now owe 35.01 for cancellation well they got my deposit money for insurance which was more than that and I still owe this sum, on speaking to someone today it was not tried to resolved I was asked if il be paying this I will not be paying this, I informed them they should not allow policy to be set up over night if you need to contact the customer after insurance money has already been taken. The guy told me this isn't something out company will be taking into consideration at this time. I told them I'm not paying it the guy told me this will got to collection's team, before cancellation I set up the account with the third party provider they use this now shows on my credit score. This service is terrible I should have stayed with MCE but they went into administration, as bike sure did not tell me or even quote what they needed me for so urgently as I have certificates and set up account either the third party team which They should not produce insurance at night if your going to have issue, also on the phone it said they would take you circumstances into consideration They did not so I am stuff with a bill form this awful service. This is the worst insurance company I have use and I highly recommended YOU DO NOT use them very unhelpful, and definitely not if you work night shifts, I have been driving motor bikes over 16 years and never heard such bullsxxt so the total of this cancellation is 95.01, 35.01 cancellation and 60 administration fee. Really bad communication and customer service.

I had a claim going on for a bike theft, the claim was fresh and soon few days after I had a notification of a insurance cancellation which was okay and normal to prevent third party claims in case someone uses the stolen vehicle in an accident and I even confirmed that with my insurer not the broker bike sure where they said it was suspended. What was unusual is the 300£ fee out of nowhere, I didn't cancel it and nor it was cancelled in reality (suspended) and I got told that if the claim was not of my fault I will not need to pay or be able to be refunded. Still waiting for the outcome of this situation although being on various phone lines for hours and quoting multiple reference numbers it is awful. Reviewed on: 27th October 2022

Rip off ! the worst experience ever

The worst Bike insurance ever, they are a Rip Off. They give you a quote and then when you pay card they will ask you to call the to validate the insurance just to charge you extra £100 and if you want to cancel they charge you £65.00. You will end up paying more then any other insurance company. I will never use them again and i will never recomend it Reviewed on: 13th October 2022

They've been taking payments without my knowledge for the last 2 years

Overcharged for cancellations.

Scammer

Rip Off ( online SCAM ) Rip Off, scam, con whatever you want call this company, I got online policy with them £127 and I had to return the bike as bike was not worth £1 therefore when I ask them to cancel the policy they try to charge me £95 after I argue with them they went down to £60 !! Don't use bikesure insurance

Don't use bikesure insurance having money troubles with cost of living Increase so sold my motorbike to pay outstanding bill and cancelled my policy they wanted 169 pounds upfront I explained I couldn't pay any money til 1st of next month they refused to make a payment plant to start from then and demanded the first payment date to be within 14 days which will mean each month I can't pay absolute terrible service my policy quote was 35 pound they then took it up to 45 as they said some of the details weren't correct absolute money grabbing bastards I have severe mental health and got the motorbike help me cope with stress in the end all bikesure have done is made it a unpleasant experience never again will I go with them or recommend them stay well clear Reviewed on: 12th August 2022
