Just the best

My annual mileage is now well below 3000 and reduced even further by lockdown and self-isolation. What a boon to my finasnces By Miles has been. I pay an annual "parking" insurance charge of around £150 (less than half that I used to pay for a standard policy) and then just over 3p a mile for my car journeys. The service has been good, the tracker gizmo easy to install, and the website which shows me details of all my trips is excellent. Reviewed on: 14th September 2020

Have used for one year but also renewing with them. Policy bought for 8000 miles but only used 7000 & therefore get a refund. Are also most competitive for this year. You literally pay for the miles you use. Paying under £300 for fully comprehensive insurance with legal cover, protected NCB & courtesy car if needed. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

Pay-per-mile is the way forward!

I've been a member for the past three years and about to start my fourth. I would never go back to a different way of insuring my car. The app is really helpful and whenever I need help it's so easy. TOTAL RIP OFF

Been with Bymiles for 2 years. During that time nothing has changed except 2 years older. During that time my anual mileage has reduced, because of circumstances beyond my contol, by approx 60% but my mileage rate has been increased by over 1000% - total rip off. Reviewed on: 25th March 2024

After giving me a quote, they suddenly told me they cannot insure me

I received my new miles quote from RMiles they increased the pence per mile by 1000 percent and increased my premium by 60%..so I had to look elsewhere..the customer service lady told me.. Average insurance company

Cheapest car insurance ever since they launched in 2018!

I've been with By Miles from the very start, having saved over £500 in the first year compared to the next cheapest provider. In the consequent years the savings have been less, but still at least £200. Great app that allows you to track your journey in case you want to find that nice little shop or castle that you drove past. Nice chat feature (via web or app) that allows you to chat with the support team, who are quick to respond and the reply will wait for you even if you close the window (and you'll be notified by e-mail when they reply). Easy use for low milage

Very affordable if you have a car for occasional use but not regular, saving quite a lot. Easy to access the dashboard online to manage the policy.
