By Miles provide car insurance aimed at low mileage drivers.

By Miles charge a fixed cost that covers a car while it’s parked. The rest is based on the actual miles driven. Customers can either plug in the matchbox-sized Miles Tracker, or for newer cars, you can connect By Miles directly with your car’s mileometer.

It's just a good concept.

It's just a good concept. We actively try to use the car less and chase the savings, but even if we do have to do a long trip we don't worry about the price. the app keeps us appraised of where we are with regards out initial annual payment so nothing is a surprise. Reviewed on: 10th October 2025
