Excellent service over 15 years

I have had a Capital One credit card for 15 years and have nothing but praise for the service. When an online accommodation company went bust I got my money back from Capital One, the whole process was very quick and painless. I have also benefitted from cashback so I have no hesitation in recommending Capital One. Reviewed on: 24th December 2015

Be careful with charges

Despite checking my balance and amount of credit left, they suddenly applied a charge saying I'd gone over my limit after I made a purchase on the card. There's no warning telling you interest is about to be applied. Reviewed on: 11th June 2017

Great to get back on track

CAPITAL ONE BANK UNDERSTANDING OF DEBT AND MENTAL HEALTH, BIPOLAR DISORDER

WHAT MORE IS THERE LEFT FOR ME TO SAY. IF I HAD THE POWER I WOULD GIVE CAPITAL ON BANK THE AWARD FOR BEING A CARING LENDER FOR NOT HOLDING PEOPLE LIKE ME, WHO HAVE BIPOLAR FOR GETTING IN TO DEBT. I HAVE EXPERIENCE THE FALL OUT WHEN OTHER LENDERS ARE NOT LIKE CAPITAL ON BANK AND HAVE LOST MANY FRIEND'S WHO TOOK THEIR OWN LIVES BECAUSE OF BEING IN DEBT AND SUFFERING MENTAL HEALTH. I WISH I WAS STRONGER AND COULD OF HELPED THEM GET THE DEBT ASSIGNED TO CAPITAL ONE BANK. JUST MAYBE THEY WOULD BE ALIVE TODAY. MAY THEIR SOULS REST IN PEACE, ( RIP). Great service

I am very happy that I have been a customer of Capital Onebecause it works very well there. They explained everything very comprehensively and gave all the needed answers and now I can enjoy the borrowed money from them. Reviewed on: 5th June 2017

Poor service

Company shown no empathy to a situation I was in which prevented me for a short period paying the bill. I was charged numerous fees and struggled to get back on track Reviewed on: 5th June 2017

The APR is quite higher compared to other lenders
