I’ve been with Capital One since 1998 and I’ve yet to have a credit limit increase which has remained at £2500. Back in 1998 this was good, today is dated and puny especially with today’s economic climate. If you try to get a credit limit increase on their online app it’s instantly denied (as I discovered) and if you write to them (as I did) you get an ambiguous response telling you that they can’t do it manually and you have to use their online app!! In other words it’s impossible yet when it comes to charging you interest on your account they are really sharp! Because of this I’m really annoyed and disgusted with their actions, clearly a long term customer like myself means nothing to them!!! So be careful with Capital One and avoid them!
