Full marks to Bishop Auckland

Whenever I go in to deposit cash into my savings account the staff are always friendly and interested and particularly lately have managed any queues very well. The branch in Bishop Auckland is very well presented both inside and out and I like to support local businesses when I can. Reviewed on: 16th April 2025

I visited the Barnard Castle branch twice with my tw...

I visited the Barnard Castle branch twice with my twin babies to open their savings accounts. The staff were patient and accommodating. I also telephoned the main number with a query, I quickly got through to a very helpful real life person, they talked me through the process of setting up the internet banking and stayed on the line to make sure I managed. the staff are always friendly and helpful. it's a competitive market and so it's not easy for our society to offer great value on savings accounts, but it would be great to see the rates being a little bit keener for us loyal members. overall, it is good to be a member of the society.
