The appointment went well but I did have to wait 15...

The appointment went well but I did have to wait 15 minutes as person taking got the timing wrong and thought it was 11 instead of 10.30 but the person on the front desk should have informed them that I was waiting and that would have prompted them to check the time Reviewed on: 7th September 2026

Protracted Transfer

Unfortunately, I was given misleading information that put me on the wrong track when trying to move money online re. a bond maturing. This made the whole process take far longer than it should have. Also, it was not immediately clear how to carry out the transaction without seeking advice. Reviewed on: 5th September 2026

A great family friendly asset.

We discussed our concerns with Tom and had each of them resolved to our satisfaction, as usual. Always a pleasure to talk with any member of staff in the Darlington branch. I may well be "doing great" but that's all you're getting for today! Thanks again. Reviewed on: 5th September 2026

New Accounts

Recently set up a couple of new savings accounts with the Darington Building Society. This was easy to setup, do and manage online. in a few minuets. Really happy with my accounts and hoping to boost my savings/ always useful commumications via post and email from the Building Society. Reviewed on: 3rd September 2026
