AVOID AVOID AVOID Biggest cowboys out there

Had insurance with Esure for years and usually multi car. Partner got a new car,went through gocompare website then onto Esure to take out a new policy.Once the details were put in the new car registration kicked my car I had insured for a year and half OUT of the policy without any warning or email of this happening although I was the policy holder.Pulled over by the Traffic Police yesterday and fined £300, 6 points on my licence aswell having to pay £200 for to get my car out of the impound because Esure switched the cars over instead of starting a new policy. Called Esure to which they agreed it was an administrative error on their part and sent a cover letter for the police but once I called for a proof of insurance to get the car back from the impound I was called a liar on the phone and laughed at.Im now having to plead not guilty and fight it in court wish me luck. Poor Communication. Takes forever for anyone to pick up calls or respond to the Chat Live online. At the 1 hr 5 mins point I did manage to speak to an agent. I asked my query and she then proceeded to put me back on hold telling me she would be back shortly. This is where I find myself 3hr and 20 mins later. Online Chat keeps advising they will be with us shortly. Unimpressed. This is one of a few poor incidents where I have needed to get in touch with the insurance. Will not be using again. I used to use e-sure for everything

They are the worst company ever. Firstly their customer services barely speak any English. They don't know anything, and can't do anything that benefits you in any way, like giving any information about your claims history. Beware this company they are shocking. Reviewed on: 22nd November 2023

Impossible to get hold of - beware

Had a claim open for 4 months and it’s impossible to get through, nothing happens. Waiting for repairers to call back and they don’t. They’ll charge £200 to get your car repaired by a professional outfit. Beware - cheap insurance you get what you pay for. Reviewed on: 20th November 2023

Awful customer experience

Avoid like the plague

The worst experience- two weeks on from my accident and nothing but broken chat bots, disconnected numbers and a lot of robots and ‘computer says no’. This was a simple claim, I dread to think what it would be like for a bigger claim. Seriously take it from me- better to pay £50 more and go with someone else! Temporary Drivers

They do not allow the addition of temporary drivers - which is utterly ridiculous! Really poor customer service - difficult to get through to an agent - very long hold times and then only option to add a drive was quoted at £250+ (despite full uk license, no convictions held >10 years) and I only needed her insured for 14 days! A comedy of errors

Don’t use them - ever! It takes you (and any of their subcontractors trying to deal with your claim) literally hours to get through to them. They left us over 3 weeks with no courtesy car and with a £1.5k bill to get back home when we had an accident in Spain. Due to a series of ridiculous errors, ended up delivering the car back to me 3 weeks later without it ever reaching a garage for repair! It’s a full time job dealing with my claim and trying to get some correct actions to resolve my claim. No response for over a week to a formal complaint. Reviewed on: 13th November 2023
