Just another Insurance company...

Although setting up my insurance online was simple & the ability to upload documents online is a welcome relief, now that I've had to speak to someone this experience has started to unravel Reviewed on: 28th April 2017

Bunch of jokers

After a 3rd party decided to drive into the side of my car whilst parked I was forced to submit a claim. Esure said their policy was to claim against my own insurance first until the 3rd party accepts liability. The incident was caught on CCTV however esure failed to request the footage and did not investigate the claim. Obviously cheaper for me to foot the cost rather than esure to actually do their job. From numerous complaints it is evident from the outset esure had no intentions of following up the claim. Now awaiting response from the ombudsman. Don't use Esure

I have recently had my car stolen then recovered, it took them over 4 weeks to give me a courtesy car even though they had possession of the car within the first week. It has been 4 weeks and they haven't declared whether it has been written off or repairable. The staff and not sympathetic and do not care. I asked to be contacted daily by someone as it was me who was chasing them but daily...but surprise surprise they didn't and it was still me chasing up a team who quite frankly didn't care that I didn't have a car or any means of transport for 4 weeks. They have so much small print which you don't get to notice until you make a claim and costs you much more..Go with someone more trustworthy such as Directline I will never ever go back to Esure ever again. They're a joke!

I've been with Esure for the past 3 years as they would give me good deals and I thought to stick to one insurance. This year my car was parked and was made aware by a witness that the car had been bumped into. The rear bumper was left wonkey. The witness took pictures of the van suspect (VRM plus even company name and tel number as it was printed on the sides) and sent them to me. For the first time in 18 years I made a claim. Guess what, the witness did not wish to respond to Esure, the pictures suddenly became unimportant, and for that reason I was blamed at fault 100%. There was no compromising whatsoever with the other insurer and were not very helpful over the phone. I didn't even see the accident but I was totally blamed. This year my premium has gone from 350 to almost 800! I'm so looking forward to call them to cancel the policy to say what a joke company they are. If you take it up, good luck when you make a claim. And what I understood is that the longest you are their customer and the worst will be for you! Try it and you'll trust me! Reviewed on: 17th December 2016

cheats, fraud company

worst insurer i have had the misfortune of dealing with in 6 years. They doubled the premium for changing address even though it is a nicer area. I can understand 50-100 pounds increase but 500 pounds increase is literally robbing people off their money . Cancelled policy half way down but lost most of the money..glad to get rid off it anyway. 1 star can not justify how poor they are

Bought my car insurance for the first time with this bogus so called big company and been told in 5 days that my insurance will cancel after 15 days. While i called them to know reason just after received the txt been told my insurance already cancelled. And I drove around 60 miles on that day without any insurance. Later while i told them that my insurance supposed to cancel after 14 days not 5 days they said it will be reinstate. The reason they cancelled my insurance because I took too many quotations. DONT TRAPPED AS THEY ALMOST ALWAYS GIVE THE CHEAPEST PRICE IN COMPARE SITES. Pay extra and stay safe. See their reviews from different sites before put your feet to their trap. Very unhelpful

I have found this the most unhelpful car insurance company I have ever been insured with me. Most of their employee's on the phone are unhelpful and some are plain rude. I contacted them in regards to accident I was involved in which wasn't my fault and they were very unhelpful in regards to helping me with the claim and they also gave me the wrong information for who and which insurance company I needed to speak to. I would give zero stars if I could

Absolutely awful company. Hope you never ever have reason to claim, they are cheap for a reason. They are the absolute worst and how they have 5 star defaqto is beyond me. Please, do yourself a favour and for the sake of your nerves and sanity go with someone else. Reviewed on: 24th September 2016
