Peace of mind for my teen

There are many things that I like about GoHenry from teaching my child to save to helping her to understand that by doing chores she can ‘earn’ money. The thing I like the most, however, is the fact that wherever she is, she can always get herself home using GoHenry and so I don’t have to worry. She carries the card with her everywhere she goes and by checking the app on my phone I can always ensure she has enough on the card for a bus fare or taxi home. It’s so fantastic knowing that I can always keep her safe, no matter where she is or if I’m with her or not. The easy-to-use app which shows her balance in an instant ensures she’s always topped up and the instant cash transfers from my account to hers is simplicity itself! I love GoHenry and am so pleased that we signed up to it as it’s made life much simpler and safer in a world of uncertainty and dangers. Thank you. Reviewed on: 18th January 2020

Teaching kids about money!

My son loves having his own card to pay for things. He can use it to save up for things as well as earn extra money for completing agreed tasks. The parental control enables me to see all transactions as well as to set predefined limits that can also be changed via the app. Very pleased with the product. Great idea! Teach kids to save with GoHenry

Imagine a child wanting to save! I was pretty astonished after setting up a goHenry account for my 10 year old when she came to me and said I'm saving for house when I'm old enough to buy one! The app means the parent is always in complete control yet the child feels grown - up and independent. The ability to set tasks is also an incentive. So far, I've been really impressed by the accounts. Well done! It does, however, always depend on the willingness of the child to cooperate. My 13 year old loves the freedom of a debit card and is the envy of her friends who are now all asking their parents for one, however, she has no interest in completing tasks or saving. I'm still happy to have an overview of her spending and to be able to cap it where necessary. I never need worry she'll be without bus fare home as I can make quick transfers into the child account from my parent account. Great different elements of goHenry for different children with different needs. Reviewed on: 18th January 2020
