They have been excellent in partnership with Bristol City Council Homelessness service. Enabling me to start the process of finding a flat for myself and my son on 'private renting scheme'. Apart from providing a valuable social service...

Apart from providing a valuable social service, which alone is enough to justify using their savings accounts, I find it useful to just set up a standing order and forget it. Each month I save without knowing I have the money - no temptation to spend. Then I get the statement and rejoice. Reviewed on: 29th March 2024

Thoroughly recommend!

I have been with credit union since it started in our local town. They have helped with loans when times have been hard, and are a brilliant way of saving just a little each month, to make sure there is a cushion to fall back on when money is needed. Their Christmas Club is also very much needed at a financially stretched time of year.. The staff are Incredibly helpful and, If I ever have a query, they are quick to reply..- brilliant service. Took me a while to sign up but no problems since then.

It took me quite a while to get fully signed up with GWCU, there seemed to be some issues with my email address and how their systems were processing it. However the customer service team were persistent and eventually helped me to become a full member of the GWCU. I've not been a member for long enough to provide a fuller experience.
