I never thought I'd actually 'enjoy' saving - I expected apps, long waits on the phone to answer a query, mildly disinterested call handlers. Not the case at all with GWCU! It is so wonderful to have helpful, engaged and friendly people to talk with as I navigate their system. I recommend them unreservedly. Reviewed on: 22nd May 2026

safe and trustworthy

Have been a saver and borrower since the beginning of the credit union. Now much enlarged but still easy to get help and support. Reviewed on: 22nd May 2026

Love a credit union

I have saved with GWCU for around 12 years (and a different credit union before). For me, having an ethical saving account feels important at this time. Its easy to deposit and withdraw money online, and the customer service is great whenever I rarely use it. The chat bot box does sit right in the middle of the screen so that could be moved! I have been saving with Credit Union for about 20 ye...

I have been saving with Credit Union for about 20 years, it is made easy as I have a Credit Union card which I can make a payment whilst at the Post Office, I feel this gives me control. If I need to ask a question or need to take out money from my Credit Union, I ring up and have always had great service, mostly it is great t speak to a human being. Reviewed on: 22nd May 2026

GWCU savings account has great features. You can use the in-built calculator to set a savings goal. It works out how much you need to save per month to reach your target, and tracks your progress toward it. Reviewed on: 21st May 2026
