opening a fixed rate saver 2025

I wanted to open a fixed rate saver on the opening day of the 2025 launch. The member portal was not clear on how to do so, and the Gwen chat bot simply told me to follow the same steps I had been through. I rang the helpline and a very kind lady called Katrina listened to my frustrations and made an arrangement to call me back with a result of her investigation. Within ten minutes I had an email saying she had checked in with the technical team and they had renamed a button to make it more obvious that the application could be started here. I clicked through the application button and filled out the relevant boxes and had confirmation of a successful application with a reference number. All my personal information already held auto-populated the application which saved a great deal of time , giving me the opportunity to amend the details .Thank you to the helpline and the technical team for such a swift and practical response to my frustrations.
