Best bank!!

I’ve been with Halifax for almost 30 years. I’m normally resistant to change, such as when the app was launched I refused to get it for quite a while (terrified of cyber crime), but it has revolutionised how I see, spend and organise my money. I can see how much/ what is coming in and out of my current account and all my other accounts too. I can easily open new accounts and renew interest rates with a few clicks and even apply for a credit card or child savings account. I love how easy it is to manage standing orders and money transfers in my account, see what is expected to leave the so I can easily manage finances and I love all the extras for my current account as well, such as save the change and cashback extras. Awful. Finally leaving

I had many accounts with Halifax for about 15 years, punch after punch they wore me into switching. None existent customer service, no perks, daft security features that leave you high and dry when you desperately need to use your card. Couldn't get a mortgage with them even on a terrible rate so went elsewhere, seen almost zero interest in all my years there due to terrible rates. Now I get far better service on a far better rate elsewhere. Reviewed on: 6th January 2023
