Pretty good.

Changed to halifax based on the £5 reward scheme which is better than most free current accounts offer. The app is nice and works well enough, the website does what you want it to, and staff in branch have been very helpful thus far. Reviewed on: 14th December 2015

no hassle bank account

Simple easy online access to my account, can get through to the call centres easily and every staff ive encountered have always been polite and helpful, only downfall is the £1 a day charge for being in your overdraft. Reviewed on: 21st November 2015

Consistently average for the most part

On the other hand, massively inconsistent when you need them to not be. Many pounds I've been swindled out of by Halifax bank. Incurring charges which are no fault of my own (The banks silly, costly mistakes) is certainly not uncommon. I've always been with Halifax because I didn't know how to change. I fully intend to make the switch to a more competent bank in the very near future. Reviewed on: 20th November 2015

Great staff and great service

I have had this account for several years without any problems. Indeed when some unauthorised transactions appeared the bank could not have been more helpful in sorting the problem.

I have had this account for several years without any problems. Changes to terms are communicated with good notice and are clear and easy to understand. The online service is good and can be used via a tablet or smartphone whilst rtetaining most of the features of the desktop version and without the need for an app. Reviewed on: 9th November 2015

Good company. Great friendly staff

I recently married and changed my name which I thought would be a long painful process. Surprisingly it wasn't and the staff were really helpful and it took around 5 mins. And new card was recieved within days Reviewed on: 6th November 2015

Easy to use account

I have had a halifax account for many years and it has always been easy and simple to manage my money. The balance changes immediately I buy something or take money out so I always know exactly how much my balance is. I have also recently downloaded their app to my phone which makes online banking easy wherever I am. Reviewed on: 30th August 2015

Simple, easy account to operate with mobile friendly app for on the go transactions.

service above and beyond required

I changed my current account to Halifax on the recommendation of a family member and I must say I am very pleased indeed! I only have a basic account which means I am supposed to only use the automated services within the store however despite this I have always been welcomed at the counter by the staff and by the other staff in branch, if I have ever had a query they have dealt with it brilliantly.
