Good solid value for over 65 years.

I have been with the Halifax for 65 years, first when they were a building society, then as a Bank. The staff are always patient, polite and friendly - always have been, never changed. Reviewed on: 23rd January 2026

Yet another Halifax branch been closure.

Not only has the town's Halifax branch been closed, but also the Lloyd's branch at the same time, even though the Halifax website says Halifax customers can carry out routine banking activities in a Lloyd's branch! Reviewed on: 22nd January 2026
