A thugs company

1. Very rude front desk services.
2. They provide wrong information and always lie.
3. They sell Haven Insurance (Haven Insurance, No.1 Grand Ocean Plaza, Ocean Village, Gibraltarare) are not helpful at all.
4. They do not close the claim in a normal time and always take long time to finalise the claim. So, they can charge higher premium from the non fault insurer.
5. There telephone communication is very poor and their call centre in India. Calls are replied from India. An Indian guy will receive the call and try to talk with Liverpool accent. Always they drop the connections without satisfactory reply. They do not reply email queries. So it is very hard and time consuming to get them.
6. They are not willing to give back extra premium what they charge from a non fault insurer, they promised.
7. They do not give information that if a non-fault insurer (whose claim they hold intentionally and do not finalise the claim) renew the insurance for less than one year will lose no claim bonus and will not get back the extra premium paid.
So, I do not recommend them at all. ( If anybody like to know more about their fishing and evil procedure, just email me for details to 'rubaiyat.ferdous@gmail.com). Please do not believe any 5 star reviews about them.

On 20/12/2019 I was waiting for my rider in front of Madame Tussauds. A Black Cab driver hit my car's right front side. I have sent the videos, Images and my job requested proof from Uber to support my claim. But the other driver did not submit any proof as he denied his fault. He is also a Haven Insurance client. So, they are not finalising the claim.

Haven Insurance will never stand back to defend you like other insurance companies do with their customers when they need support. Instead that they will try to blame you just you to feel you are guilty in any situation. Their staff is very rude,unprofessional and unpleasant.
I will not recommend them to anyone!
Avoid them like a plague at any cost!!!!

I was involved in a hit and run where the third party was clearly speeding on a 30 mph road, after the impact my black was nearly in 2 pieces down the middle, the dash and steering wheel all twisted, rear axle on the floor, wheel hub, detached. After impact third party abandoned their vehicle and ran off.
Even though the third party paid for damages straight away, haven are now indicating they are going to admit liability. Why u ask?
Apparently they are saying you cannot prove the difference Between a 30mph impact or a 70 mph impact, also the fact the third party driver broke the law, fled and abandoned the vehicle without exchanging any details, makes no difference to them.
Absolutely mind boggling, is this the kind of insurance company you want to be insured with???

One of the worst insurance i ever had I bought taxi insurance from them and cause of covid 19 i said to them i want to finish my insurance and they said we can amend your insurance from taxi to normal car insurance and i was agreed with this Everything was solved but they finished my normal car insurance aswell without telling me they put my life my family life in trouble i was driving my car without insurance 2 weeks luckily no one stoped me if anyone wants proof i can show them all the email about insurance

Haven taxi insurance policy... Paying for a taxi insurance £2700 a year...
I had a none fault car accident. When I reported it to Haven they offered me the service to claim for the personal injury. What they didn’t say is that the insurance doesn’t cover for that!!
After 10 days and have received contracts to be signed from their solicitors company which I didn’t sign, then I received an email saying that the car insurance doesn’t cover for a personal injury claim. So if you trust you just sign the contract and you are not advised that you will have to pay for that service!!
On the other side, the car insurance offered me to collect my car to be repaired and drop off a courtesy car in the meantime.
They kept my car in the garage for 20 days to change a bumper!!! The first 2 weeks they hadn’t done anything to the car. Why? Because then they can charge to the Third Party all these days for the hire vehicle.
What car do you think they dropped off? The newest E Class, when my car is 8 years old. Why? Because they want to charge to the Third Party £350 a day for that car!! When you can get that car for £250-300 a week!!.
When I told them to collect the hire vehicle after a week time to keep it, as I didn’t need it anymore, they made it so difficult and asking me so many questions about why I didn’t need the car longer? So rude stuff who almost didn’t allow me to give back the car in a different location which was more convenient for me. As I couldn’t to be at home all day waiting for them to come and collect the car. They just wanted to charge more and more to the Third Party.

You have a car accident and then they call you every day to try to drop off the courtesy car to start getting money. I had to tell them every day during 3 weeks that I didn’t need the car yet as I was injured and I wasn’t driving at all.
When they asked me if I could pay for a hire vehicle I told them that I couldn’t and I said to them that I had enough expenses with my own car. I couldn’t afford more expenses.
Now it’s almost 3 months since the car accident happened, they are still asking me to prove that I can pay for that car!! when I already told them that I couldn’t pay for another car!! And even they told me all times that the third party will pay for that!!
Why did they drop off that new car if my car worths £4000?? Why do they make everything so difficult?? Why didn’t they drop off a cheap car for me when I told them that I couldn’t afford to pay for another car!!.
I’ve never seen a service like that in my life and I drive for 24 years.
This is the service you get with this insurance.

In other words they are unreliable to deal as well as Haven and Acorn insurance unreliable over price and the brokers tells so much lies about there products

To cut a long story do not buy any insurance from them. Please go elsewhere for insurance

I’ve been insured with haven for my taxi last two years. First year they charged me £3200 and second year for 2700. End of my second year I made a claim due to electronics caught fire. I had comprehensive insurance but they refused to give me the courtesy car stating it’s not included in comprehensive insurance?? My car is worth £6000 and after six weeks hassle they offered me £2800 for my car. Upon protest, they said you can make formal complaint which will take up to six weeks. I’m without work and can’t wait any longer. So I took the money and bought another car and insured with some other company which despite me making claim recently offered me £2475 for a year with the courtesy car included in case of any accident. Avoid these fraudsters!

Paying a fully comprehensive insurance, made a claim which they authorised with Totoya, now they are not paying me. They dont want to pass on phone to a manager either. I've been so stressed since my car part was stolen and they have tripled the stress, my car is my livelihood and they are aware of it and dont care. I wish I had read all these reviews before insuring my car with them. They say one thing and do another, giving me incorrect information. Please read all reviews before even taking out a policy with them!!!!

I have had this policy for months now.. All of a sudden they cancel my policy because my partner used my telephone number on the quote. My partners policy cancelled also. When i called multiple times to explain (taking time off work way past my lunch break) they have reinstated both policies but only for 1 WEEK. Then they send me a letter asking to provide countless documents to confirm my insurance. Mind you both me and my partner have already done this. And given me 7 days from the date of the letter to respond so by the time the letter arrived i now have two days left or my policy will be cancelled. Accused of fraud, because me and my partner used the same telephone number. 2nd week Been trying to sort this out and caused anxiety and stress for both of us,. Stay away from the company, cant imagine what would happen if we got in an accident at this rate we would both be accused of fraud and god knows what else.

My fathers car got stolen outside my house. They refuse to pay money for the car because I was a previous owner of the car and I was still paying finance on the car. The V5 logbook was in my father's name, he was only one insured driver of this car and he provided bank statements showing payments being taken by them. All this was not enough... They made assumptions that my father was not at my address when the car was stolen which is complete lies. On the they of burglary the police attended the house and he was there. Please avoid this company !!!!!! My father case is delt by financial ombudsman now.

My husband had a black cab insured with them as they were slightly cheaper ....they have settled a claim on his behalf without his consent for a scuff to a car bumper wait for it ...at the cost of £1000!!!!!!!!!! A scuff that could be T cutted out they, they are a beyond awful company and do nothing to support the people who insure their vehicles and trust them. I honestly wish we had googled them before we naively used them it’s been a very costly exercise.

So over a MONTH ago I was crashed into by another driver. Who was on drugs and on my side of the road at 60mph. My car was deemed a total loss 2 weeks ago and even to this day. I've had to call up everyday to find out where my money is. I keep getting lied to and made to feel like a criminal they're now investigating me because I bought a 10 grand car while on disability benefits. I have had to prove a years worth of bank statements so they can invade my privacy and go through everything I've bought. And guess what? It's still not good enough. I'm still waiting for them to tell me if what I've supplied them is enough which I have been waiting for over a week. Please dont expect to get your money off of these idiots for months. Also. If your car was a weite off to begin with they will take 20 percent and your excess aswell as your year premiums out of your settlement. So even though my car was fixed to a very road worthy condition they took 3 grand out of my settlement to begin with. They are scamming little b*****ds. Acorn insurance is my insurance and these are the lot who deal with them. They leave you on hold on purpose and pretend their manager has "gone home for the week" I wish I went straight to his insurance now.

Been with these (ACORN) for well over a year, first impressions were good no issues, i held a motor-trade policy with them, they knew i had multiple disabilities including being autistic, having a recent stroke and type 1 diabetic, the didn't explain things clear to me, constantly asked me for paperwork which was provided to them, everything they wanted they were issued with.
They sent me a letter of cancellation out due to a vehicle not being removed from their MID within 24 hrs of selling it (most other insurers advise of up to 14 days). I explained i had simply forgotten and that its normal behaviour of a human (Human error) they didn't want to know, i made a written complaint to them after seeking legal advice and they said my insurance would stay active until they complaint was dealt with, shortly after i received an email stating my insurance policy would be cancelled 3 days from the date of the email (which was actually 2 days of receiving the email) i called them and they had said that HAVEN had sent me a reply and cancellation via email themselves however this was in an unreadable attachment which i sent screen shits of, they also said HAVEN had posted me a letter which while i was on the phone, had come through the letter box (14th Nov) dated 8th NOV saying my insurance would be cancelled at 00:00 on the 15th of Nov essentially only giving me a few hours to arrange other insurance to cover me, they wouldn't help at all, told me to go elsewhere and it was the end of our relationship..... this place is a joke and feel they did not treat my disability seriously and did not take my disabilities into consideration whilst doing what they did.
