Good value for money

Have an overdraft with HSBC and the interest is very reasonable. Usually is about 2-3 pound a month. Have had overdrafts with other banks where the charges are 1 a day which makes it difficult to pay off. Reviewed on: 20th November 2016

great service

i origonally went for hsbc when i was 16 becuase they had sparkly bank cards but iv since found that they are a great bank for me & the account i have. Reviewed on: 17th November 2016

Very average

Nothing particularly noteworthy about this current account. Like all of them, interest rates are non existent, but no problems with the actual account. There is quite a good phone app that they provide, but I got locked out of it for several months when I lost my little plastic key fob. It felt way harder than it should have been to get everything up and running again. Reviewed on: 15th November 2016

OK Apart From the Bank Charges

A FAIRLY GOOD SERVICE BUT ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

Brilliant

Had a meeting with a personal adviser on the weekend - it was a meeting that i'd been putting off for some time but it was actually such a positive experience. I came out feeling like a weight had been lifted - the adviser was friendly, helpful and very reassuring. Reviewed on: 14th November 2016

Reasonably good service for a daily-used current account

Have banked with HSBC for many years, many different products including my current account They have always been reasonably quick to respond to any queries and have helpful advisers available on the end of the phone As someone who uses HSBC remotely (i.e. not going into a branch) I do find that their app could be better and the use of a secure key, whilst understandable, is a little tiresome Reviewed on: 14th November 2016
