Review of the Lloyds Bank, Car Insurance:

Consistently terrible

They have been consistently terrible, my car was hit on the 31st of January and as of today (29 March) they have taken the courtesy car away from me a month ago (2nd March) and have not paid me a penny they agreed a figure and then decided that their independent assessor was wrong after agreeing it with me. I have now been told that after 8 weeks they will give me an answer in 4 weeks as to what is happening (so 12 weeks to get an answer), no returned calls and cannot be bothered that I do not have a car or the money to replace it. Terrible company that is a front for BISL Ltd and Covea insurance, just corrupt and they could care less about you as a customer. So my next attempt is a 14 day letter and then of too County Court let the judge decide. Reviewed on: 1st April 2022

Brilliant service

3 years after cancelling my car insurance, due to leaving the UK, I received an email saying my refund had not gone into my account!! I phoned their customer service number where I spoke to an extremely helpful girl, who not only organised a cheque for the refund but also informed me there would be interest added due to the length of time since the refund was due. The girl was helpful, polite and extremely efficient. Credit to Lloyds for recognising the refund not getting to my account 3 years ago!! Reviewed on: 6th August 2019

ABSOLUTELY USELESS. CHASED ME FOR 25 POUNDS VIA DEBT COLLECTION. TOLD THEM I DIDNT OWE IT BUT THEY ATE F USELESS> DO YOURSELVES AND AVOID AT ALL COSTS. OR IT WILL COST YOU. ALL CROOKS AND SCAMMERS AVOID AVOID AVOID YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - Reviewed on: 9th May 2019

Dont even think about this product

Without a single second thought I would strongly advise, run in the direction of any other supplier! We have been miss advised non stop for 3 weeks and still waiting for the repairs to be estimated. We were even told the £45k care was a write off then phoned literally 10 mins later to be advised that was a mistake! This insurer is king of the outsourcing world absolutely incompetent- you have been warned. Reviewed on: 12th April 2019

Absolutely Rubbish Customer Services

Absolutely Rubbish Customer Services, I have a very high quote for a new car that's the same, but to cancel mid term they want another £120 just to cancel, when you call Customer Services, you can get put on hold for up to an hour, and still end up with useless information, I would never recommend LLoyds again, next step change Bank. been wait for 4 day for Customer Services to call me. Excellent communication

Bought through go compare, I have received a couple of helpful texts sending me phone numbers to use in case of an accident and windscreen damage. No need for proof of NCD and much cheaper than my renewal quote with Saga even with add-ons. Reviewed on: 6th February 2019

AWFUL BEWARE WHEN CANCELING RENEWAL

Tried to cancel my renewal 2 days before , i told them i had sold the vehicle , they then tried to hit me with a £55 policy cancellation fee that i have refused to pay . The telephone operator was awfull and just tried to confuss me firing more and more questions and stating all calls were recorded and i was comitting fraud . I refuse to pay this fee and i wont . Awful company with poor staff with no idea about customer service , i would not recomend anybody using them. To add insult to injury they tried to set up another direct debit to remove the £ 55 without my authorisation , will i was discussing this on the phone with them my bank informs me . Won't accept responsability

Had to make a no fault claim. Gave all information to Lloyds, they the transferred me to another company. Had to give all details again. Next day, contacted by underwriter, had to give all the information again. Lloyds had instructed one company to deal with claim, underwriter another. Lloyds wanted NOTHING to do with claim. I simply followed instructions given in emails and texts and phone calls. Ended up with chaos. Phone Lloyds, " nothing to do with us", phone underwriter, they blame Lloyds. Beyond Bad

This is an agency which is doing the bank no favours. One way discussion on chat. They did not provide the full contract after asking 3 times including a letter. and have now cancelled my policy and refunded nothing. AVOID Reviewed on: 6th September 2018
