Review of the Lloyds Bank, Car Insurance:

Consistently terrible

They have been consistently terrible, my car was hit on the 31st of January and as of today (29 March) they have taken the courtesy car away from me a month ago (2nd March) and have not paid me a penny they agreed a figure and then decided that their independent assessor was wrong after agreeing it with me. I have now been told that after 8 weeks they will give me an answer in 4 weeks as to what is happening (so 12 weeks to get an answer), no returned calls and cannot be bothered that I do not have a car or the money to replace it. Terrible company that is a front for BISL Ltd and Covea insurance, just corrupt and they could care less about you as a customer. So my next attempt is a 14 day letter and then of too County Court let the judge decide. Reviewed on: 1st April 2022

NEVER USE THIS INSURANCE! What an absolute shocking service. Not sure where to begin. I was not at fault, got rear ended, called Lloyds, put through to Enterprise, Enterprise didn't have record of me because Lloyds cancelled without me knowing, got put through to Markerstudy, but paid out by IMS instructed through Enterprise. Each time calling Lloyds to find out the issue to have no answers but always needing to pay more money. More money to pay for change of plates on a vehicle written off, more money for insurance on a vehicle written off, no notification after pay out that I could cancel so I am the one to chase again to be told I need to pay out more money to cancel. If I had known such a trusted provider would have been this shocking I would have gone with the cheaper option elsewhere. Disgraceful. Reviewed on: 7th November 2024

Awful business.

Awful business. I checked if they wanted some information, they said they did despite a different insurer saying they didn’t need it. Online chat person then spent 3 minutes imputing some trivial information and then charged me £25 (£500 an hour for cleric time). When I reviewed badly on survey sent an email, blah, blah blah in the contract etc. etc. Avoid at all costs, you will regret using this typical corporate greed specialist. 50% Increase for Renewal

Just had my renewal quote through for the end of Jan. up by nearly 50% for absolutely no discernible reason, never made a claim or anything. Basically just hoping that you don’t notice and it auto renews. Disgusting way to treat customers. Reviewed on: 2nd January 2024

When things go wrong, you need support. Don't go to Lloyds insurance for it.

I had an accident... that is what I am insured for. 2 accidents in over 40 years of driving. I had to threaten the company who represent Llloyds for my Guaranteed Car replacement. Insurance for my new car through Lloyds is over £2,000 more than anywhere else. It is stressful enough to have an accident, Lloyds car insurance ensures that stress levels go much higher. Change of vehicle

Contacted lloyds insurance to change vehicle to a smaller car and they went from £175 for a fiesta up to £585 for a vw up and said it's cost gone up funny how I got insurance back at a normal price . Lloyds are cashing in on everyone else so don't use comparison sites as they are conning people go straight to a insurance company beat their prices.
