Utterly shocking

They keep rejecing our valid claim due to lack of evidence. I had a very similiar experience to someone I know and their insurance company paid staight away. Will probablyhave to take legal advice. DO NOT USE. Reviewed on: 14th May 2019

Our home insurance with Lloyds increased by over £100 despite having had over 30 years of no claims. I called the number on the letter and after some time I finally got through to an adviser. I confirmed I had wifi when queried. The adviser then stated that he couldn't speak to me since extreme weather conditions meant that they can only speak to the most vulnerable. I asked what extreme weather in the UK? Who is defined as 'vulnerable'. This was a call centre for insurance not ... Reviewed on: 8th November 2024

Lloyds' home insurance quote proved to be very competitive and was easily put into practice (perhaps because I have insured my car with them before?) Their quote was almost half that of my old insurer (Aviva). Perhaps if you stay with the same insurers instead of shopping around, they begin to take you for granted and up the premiums in the hope you won't bother to move? In fact this happened with Lloyds, who recently increased my car insurance, obliging me to switch to Admiral.... Reviewed on: 5th September 2024

Home insurance

Got insurance a few years ago. Went in to Lloyds and the guy was clear with everything and made sure everything was covered. Since then we've had lots of communication via letters to show us what our cost is and where it will go to. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Best price never offered until you phone

As with most insurance, I find it frustrating that their best price for insurance isn't offered at time of renewal rather than always being able to reduce it if you phone to cancel. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2024

My cliam has been open for over a year and a half and no one can ever be bothered to call me and give me updates. I have to wait 40 mins to get through each time only to be told its with the adjusters. its been months since they visited of which on the day they informed us that there was no reason why this cliam shouldnt get processed Reviewed on: 6th July 2024

Absolutely disgusting service. I pay £25 a month to have this as one of my Premier account benefits.Registered a claim for a broken boiler on Thursday, now Monday and no further contract.I was asked if I was vulnerable when I made the claim and I explained that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I have been in agony all weekend with no heating or hot water. Awful customer service. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2024

If you’re a circus performer you may find them useful but sadly I’m not used to jumping through hoops for something I’ve paid for for over 10 years. no heating and water, engineer came out after 1 day ( remember it’s emergency cover I have) took some pics, sent to his company would then sent it to insurer who then have to get quote, once it been “worked”. ( no idea what that mean) but someone then approved it, but not straight away but ANOTHER 24 hours, then they ask for evidenc... Reviewed on: 6th January 2024

CORRUPT COMPANY - AVOID!!!

Disgusting company! 90% of reviews are ONE STAR which speaks volumes!! We made a formal complaint on Monday 4th December and they were supposed to acknowledge this (according to the ombudsman) within 7 days. No communication from them whatsoever and they continue to try and wriggle out of a genuine escape of water claim, blaming non existent "seals" around a bath! Wish we'd thought to check Trust Pilot before insuring with them. I see through experience how they justify their ON... Reviewed on: 13th December 2023
