Not the cheapest but the easiest!

So we may pay more with lloyds, but the amount of cover we get is great for what we need. It was so easy to set up insurance, just a few questions about lifestyle and where we live and boom! We've moved house twice since we have signed up, and each time they give us a new quote of how much difference it will be. The support team are so friendly and there when you need them! Punished for loyalty

Had a Lloyds buildings policy for 14 years. Went up each year compounding considerably with no notification of this. Checked this years quote and was 320% of highest quote on money supermarket.com and 400% of current market quote from Lloyds themselves!! Challenged this with customer complaints and eventually told 'they were happy with the calculations'. Will be taking this to the FCA. Reviewed on: 3rd November 2016

Unimaginable incompetence

I closed my accounts with Lloyds over a year ago and since then they have continually reported my closed accounts as open and worse in default! I have complained and we paly a game of them apologising, they fix the credit report entries and we assume we are done. THE VERY NEXT MONTH we have to do this all over again as they report the account either open or with a default amount. Over the past 12 months they've sent apologies and even a £200 cheque in compensation but the false reporting damages my credit score and I have now lodged a second complaint with the Financial Ombudsmen to get this sorted out. We had insurance for our home after getting a mortgage, not problems, or no claims, unfortunately cancelling it after selling the house was a real hassle, rang 4 times couldn't get to the right people and when we finally did cancel and cancelled direct debit, they wrote to us asking for payment.
