Total RIP OFF & THIEF

I had a garage door lock maliciously glued and drilled out. I made a report to the local Police.I was given a crime number for this incident, I then reported this Lloyds Bank Home Insurance as I was to understand from my insurance policy that my garage was covered within the Home Insurance scheme. LLoyds Bank Home Insurance refused to pay as LLoyds Bank DO NOT PAY OUT for malicious damage, I was informed that they only pay out on lost keys DO NOT USE LLOYDS BANK HOME INSURANCE, I consider LLoyds Bank Home Insurance a total RIP OFF also they are total con artists, PLEASE BE WARNED if you do not want to be RIPPED OFF AVOID AVOID AVOID LLoyds Bank Home Insurance Reviewed on: 25th June 2021

Do not use awful awful

I had to make a claim for a water leak. Still not resolved after 2 years! Useless surveying and water leak detection. Had to get own people in who insurers won’t accept. Useless third party claims department. I am constantly chasing them for a resolution to no avail. Do not touch with a barge pole. Reviewed on: 21st April 2021

I made a claim for a leak and they have done everything possible not to payout using exclusion clauses which don’t make sense. I would never use them. Even if you withdraw your claim they put your premium up. They are using a useless surveying and validating company. They never get back to you. Their customer services are useless. spent half a day on the phone as they tried as hard as they could not to sort my water leak. made a problem worse as i had to pay somoni to tell me what i already knew to keep them happy then they still made it hard . sorted myself in the end . will never use them again. waste of money Reviewed on: 10th March 2021

Absolutely disgusting company

My property was hit by a car, i rang my home insurance (Lloyd's bank) and sent all the evidence, police report, and they came back with your policy only allows us to patch it up, when i told them but im not at fault and the drivers insurance will need to sort it they said this is our final decision and if you dont like it go and claim against the driver yourself, there rude, dont care about there customers, im counting the days till my renewal date so i can get away from them, i wish id of read the reviews before i paid for them to represent me.. Double charging

I have been a Lloyds customer for many years, originally with a combined buildings and contents home insurance policy, I suddenly realised that I had been paying two direct debits, one for buildings and a seperate one for contents, I was horrified, as I have never requested seperate cover, also both policies had been increased by £50.00 last year and I have never made a claim I have now cancelled my policies, DO NOT trust these people !!! I Would Recommend No Buddie Buys Insurance From Lloyds. They Take Your Money Up Front And After You Sign The Policy They Will Stat Sending You Amendments To The Policy. Poor Buildings insurance cover

Have been paying them for about 9 years for buildings insurance. Never made a claim and paid about £700 per year. We have a recent water ingress coming in on the side wall bubbling up the paint and plaster and also entering the downstairs cloakroom. They tell us it cannot be claimed unless wind was above 50mph. How would I know that? How would they know that? This is exactly what you need buildings insurance for I said and after a lot of discussion they said they would send a surveyor BUT they are unlikely to say that it is a valid claim and I would have my record marked as having made a claim, even if I do not and cannot claim! What a joke! I could not believe it. The only time I try to make a claim I cannot and I will be marked that I have regardless. Needless to say I will not be renewing and I urge you to be careful when considering what I thought was a reputable company. Terrible company. Reviewed on: 24th August 2020

Avoid Lloyds at all costs!

Had to chase and chase for a response. Customer service appalling. My laptop was completely broken after a coffee spillage and they asked me to send them the laptop plus passwords!!!!! Beware the data portals they use for' like for like 'comparison on replacing damaged household electrical items are often one already old and delted items or they use poor quality branded products that do not sell in high streets only from cheap warehouses. In this way the can say they found an item with the same spec but it is always the lowest quality and not a brand you ever heard of.
