I've been with the LBS for over 3 years now and they've always provided an excellent service by being informative, swift and concise. It's also refreshing to deal with an organisation that doesn't offshore any of it's services or use chat functions as it means you speak to real people who know exactly what they're talking about as they're the ones actually dealing with your product. I've just completed my mortgage paperwork to continue my relationship with them for another 3 years as whilst their rates are slightly higher than other banks/building society, the excellent customer I receive is far more important to me and outweighs the negligible cost saving I would benefit from by moving elsewhere. Very competitive offer for the older borrower

Very competitive offer for the older borrower with the ability to extend the loan for up to 35 years which suited my circumstances. The discounted SVR option with no fee or penalty seems to be unique to Loughborough. The Advisor interview was friendly but professional and the Report was available the same day with recommendations. Reviewed on: 28th February 2025
