We are sincere gratitude for the support Loughborough building society gave us when we were unable to secure a mortgage with high street lenders due to having a third-party member and being over 80 years old. At what was a very stressful and uncertain time for us, Loughborough stepped in and made it possible for us to purchase our home. We are especially grateful for your understanding and flexibility when the sale was delayed, and for offering us an extension to the mortgage. Your support and willingness to work with us made all the difference. High rates , massive wait on a mortgage interview, spoke to a pleasant gentlemen but I wanted to ask his manager a few questions, he did inform me she will call however when she did call it dialled once and the line dropped with no attempt to call me back. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026

It was a swift process from start to finish, once my application was submitted a valuation was quickly arranged, the underwriter who dealt with my case acted swiftly and sent all required questions within a reasonable time, once satisfied my mortgage offer was approved and received so grateful to the team that worked so fast on my application.
